Revolt! Fitness - Week 10

Over the last 10 weeks I have been using the Revolt! Fitness meals and love that I am building up my healthy recipe lists!  I love the fact that it takes all of the thinking and guess work out of it for me.  It also helps me with learning and understanding what I should and shouldn't eat.  

The hubbs and I have moved up to "Level 3" in the workout program for July.  I think doing the extra set is more of a mental weakness more than anything.  But how good does it feel when you FINISH a tough workout???  The best!!!!  

Oh AAANNNDD I happen to do a bit of different routine one day last week and was blown away by how much my strength and endurance has improved by following everything Nichole has had us do.  Definitely a NICE surprise!!!

Revolt! Fitness - Week 9

Wow time is flying and I'm realizing more and more that I really enjoy staying on top of my health.  I kind of grew up that way with my dad always working out/running and my mom cooking pretty healthy food, but since I've been on Revolt! Fitness for the last 2 months it's kind of reprogrammed me to know exactly what I should and should not be eating. 
Speaking of time, we are starting a new month!!!!  A new UPRISING with
Revolt! Fitness!!!  So fun!  This will be my last month blogging about
Revolt! Fitness but I will truly be on this program for life.  And the workouts?  AWESOME.  Nichole knows how to kick booty and seriously turns it up on those.  But what I love is that they are fast!  30 min usually, and SO effective.  Perfect for me who is super busy!

Revolt! Fitness - Week 6

6 weeks down, 6 more to go with Revolt! Fitness!  This has been one BIG eye opener for me as far as what and how I need to be eating!  I pretty much threw all of my good eating habits out the window when I was preggo with my last babe and haven't looked back since.  Not anymore!!!  I really feel like I'm back on track and even BETTER than before.

This past week was detox week!  The hubbs and I both dropped a few lbs. and are happy about our progress!  I am a bit behind for this week though.  Saturday was CRAY CRAY busy so I didn't have time to prep and shop for this week!  Gotta get 'er done today.

Revot! Fitness - Week 5

Memorial weekend kicked my booty.  We went down to Carlsbad to visit the in-laws, go to the Safari Park and relax.  I guess I got a little too relaxed.... LOL.  We pretty much had a diet-free 3 day weekend.  Needless to say we were happy to have that break but at the same time really missed eating clean.  It's a weird thing, I tell ya.  I really do feel better eating the way Nichole has us with Revolt! Fitness.

I don't know what it was, but I just couldn't get in the "zone" with my personal discipline and would have a random bite of this, nibble of that...everything adds up!  The hubbs on the other hand was good because he was stuck in the office all day!  He doesn't have the temptations....at least not that I know of : )
So overall I didn't have the greatest week.  No progress as far as weight goes.  But the hubbs lost another pound.  Yay for him!!! Don't get me wrong though, since following the program I've totally burned up fat all over my body.  My clothes fit better and I can really start to see my muscles toning up!  It's definitely creating change for the better.  And the workout for this week?  Killer!  My legs are jello.  Especially from yesterday and today.  But it feels OH SO GOOD to know that tomorrow is a rest day!!! Ahhhhhh.
 YUMMY Smoothie for Bfast this past week.  Seriously good.

Next week we are starting the next UPRISING for Revolt! Fitness.  Who wants to join in?  It's officially JUNE and that means sun, sand and water : )  We are kicking off the month with a DETOX.  If we follow the plan we are to lose 4-7lbs this WEEK, 1-2 lbs of which are FAT.  That's what I'm talking about!!!  I know it's not gonna be daisies and butterflies for the week but the end result is worth a week of that.
Honestly though, for $10 a month or LESS, depending on what you want, you really can't go wrong.  Cray Cray, I know!  Nichole is basically your personal trainer AND nutritionist.  She lays is ALL out for you.  Not to mention the support that you get from her and all of us following the program too.  Like I've said before, NO BRAINER!  Get 'er done!

Revolt! Fitness - Week 4

So we are one month into this Revolt! Fitness routine....and honestly it has really begun to rewire the way I think about eating.  I mean, don't get me wrong, I still crave YUM YUM maple donuts like, every day. LOL.  But I see the benefit in eating clean and eating what your body needs, not what your brain wants! 
Our Free days are interesting....we are learning more and more that we actually enjoy eating the way Revolt! Fitness  has us eating during the week.  We just feel better.  Not weighed down or bloated or.....
I guess it also helps that my clothes are fitting me a little nicer and my tire is shrinking! Woohoo!  We are definitely seeing the flab melt away.

Revolt! Fitness - Week 1

I'm finishing the tail end of my first week using Nichole Huntsman's Revolt! fitness program and meal plans...and I am loving it!!!  I am down 3.5lbs my friends!  That's from Monday til Friday.....woohoo!!!  I really just want to loose the flab and get toned and fit! 

Ok so here's how it works:  Nichole has put together this incredible program that is super streamlined and easy to follow.  Meals change weekly (same thing for bfast all week long, next week it's a different menu, etc), as do the workouts.  I LOVE the meal thing because I do all the prep work ONE day and throw everything together so that the work is pretty much done for the rest of the week!  I freeze what I can and voila!  Life is simple.  Worrying about what and what not to eat is a thing of the past for me!  Plus, when I get hungry I know exactly what's on the menu so I don't get tempted to eat something I'm not supposed to have.  

The workouts are fantastic.  3 intensity levels.  6 days a week.  Everything is spelled out for you.  The best thing is that the workouts are only 20-30 minutes each day.  So by the time I leave the house, go to the gym (you can totally do the workouts at home but I LOVE doing them at the gym) do my workout and come home it's almost exactly an hour.  Perfect!  The best part about it is Nichole posts videos of not only herself doing the workout so that you can do it with her at home, but she also breaks it down and does a quick blurb in the begining and shows you what each move is.  This is perfect for me because it's quick, to the point, and I can take what she shows us in the 5 min segment to the gym and do my entire workout there (she also provides a worksheet to follow so you don't get lost!).  Like I said, everything is spelled out for you.
