Happy 6th Birthday! {North Dallas Portraits}

My sweet Jayda turned 6 a few months ago.  It's almost impossible trying to run a birthday party with lots of kiddos and take video and pictures at the same time but this is what I managed to throw together. Enjoy!

F Family {Santa Clarita Valencia Portrait Photographer 91355}

I think it's safe to say I've known this family since I was in 7th grade!!!  I can't believe how the years have past...  

I was thrilled to take some family portraits of them when they asked!  They are all gorgeous so they made my job really easy : )

I brought them to one of my favorite spots in Santa Clarita and had fun with them while they enjoyed those cute babes of theirs : )

 Cousins.  Seriously ADORBS.

This momma is a trooper!!! Clearly she's got a FRESH babe in one arm and can still manage to play best bud to her cutie pa-tootie little man in the other arm.  I cannot get over that smile of his!!!

Out of 3 kids in my family, I am the only girl. 
How I wish I had a sister...
Especially when I see this sweet girls.  How CUTE are they???

 I just can't get over how darling they all are.  Love it!!!

Puppy Love {Santa Clarita Valencia 91355 Portrait Photographer}

Ok, so maybe he's not a puppy...but he was sure sweet.  This big guy had a photo shoot with his two favorite owners.
Darling kids.  It's clear how much they loved their dog.....

 A few months after our session together I was informed that the big guy passed away.  It was his time to go.  I know that he lived a happy life.

Another reason why being a photographer is so amazing...I get to capture visual memories of what once was.  R.I.P. Big D!!!

I had the pleasure of taking photos of this sweet little graduate!  Yes, I am behind in posting as we are nearing the beginning of the school year, but I just had to get these up and show the world!  She is darling and such a sweetie.  That pink grad gown just tops it all off : )

 

Ninja Turtles Birthday Bash! {Santa Clarita Valencia 91355 Portrait Photographer}

My delightful friend Jen throws the best birthday parties for her kiddos (you can look at the last one she had for her darling daughter here).  Her son, Joe, just turned 6 and they had a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles themed party.  So fun!

Clearly, he is adorable.  He had so much fun with all of his little friends!

I was happy to cover the party for Jen as I have in the past but this time around I wanted to try something different.  I wanted to put something together for her and Joe that was more that just pictures.  Soooooo this is what I came up with:

I was really happy with how it turned out and can't wait to make more!  I think it's a great way to re-live and remember a special event - whether it's a party, family reunion or a moment with your family (think family photos taken to the next level!!!) bridal or baby shower, birth or the first hours with your new little one...the possibilities are endless!  What would you want a video of?

Valentine's Day Special - Part 1: The Kiddos {Santa Clarita Valencia 91355 Portrait Photographer}

I can't believe February is over.  Is it just me or does time fly by faster and faster the older we get?  Sheesh!  

I had such a great little turn out in the studio for the special I ran for Valentine's Day... I just have to share a little snippet of what we did!

My sweet friend Jen helped me make this darling banner!  Her kids modeled it for me perfectly : )  Aren't they precious?
