She's 2!

I'm on a roll with posts!  Haha not really, but how could I post about one of my June babies and not the other?  Especially in ruffles and lace?  She is my doll baby and is just the sweetest.  I love her with all my heart!  No signs of terrible 2's just yet so I am counting my blessings everyday!!!

Happy 1st Birthday Little Miss C {McKinney North Dallas Photographer}

Although I may be over 2 months late in sharing these I figured better now than never!  I snapped a few quick pictures at the bottom of the stairs before church for her birthday.  It's only been about 10ish weeks since then but she has changed so much already!  I think she looks different, shes just barely starting to walk and talk.  Not to mention SO SO smart.  It's kind of scary.  She's feeding herself with a fork and spoon and understands how to do something if you show her once or twice.  We love this little lady so much and are so lucky to have her in our family.  I can go on and on about her but will just share these pics instead:

Out came the cake and candle...she really wasn't sure how to react...

 She cried for a minute...

 and then realized that cake and frosting were a tasty part of life 

that had been missing until now!

Pretty Preggo Momma {Mckinney, TX Maternity Photographer}

This beautiful friend of mine is expecting baby #4...a boy!  I love her!  She has been my talented hair and makeup artist on just about every one of my makeover shoots.  She also is a talented hairdresser and has been doing my hair for the last few years. Isn't she perfection???
I am so happy I had a chance to take a few more pictures of her before my big move to Texas.  She was my last shoot before we made the big move and I am finally getting around to sharing a few of my favorites.  Enjoy!

Baby C {Santa Clarita Valencia 91355 Newborn Photographer}

My sweet baby girl has arrived!  She was about one week old when my mom and I decided to do a quick, impromptu shoot with my sleepy baby.  She has truly been an angel baby.  Here are a few of my faves:

 Big sister couldn't resist being part of the shoot!  She grabbed a flower and jumped in...I had to get a shot of that beautiful face : )

I can't believe she's already 8 weeks old!  I have more darling pics to post of this smiley blue-eyed baby from our recent trip to Toronto!!!  Soon to come..........

F Family {Santa Clarita Valencia Portrait Photographer 91355}

I think it's safe to say I've known this family since I was in 7th grade!!!  I can't believe how the years have past...  

I was thrilled to take some family portraits of them when they asked!  They are all gorgeous so they made my job really easy : )

I brought them to one of my favorite spots in Santa Clarita and had fun with them while they enjoyed those cute babes of theirs : )

This momma is a trooper!!! Clearly she's got a FRESH babe in one arm and can still manage to play best bud to her cutie pa-tootie little man in the other arm.  I cannot get over that smile of his!!!

After quite a break (holiday madness + morning sickness = not a pretty combo) I'm back!!!  I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing this family a little while ago, when they only had one little guy (and momma was expecting #2).  Now that they've got another little man in the fam they wanted to get an updated portrait for their home. 

 Of course, we managed to squeeze in a little glam when Miss J got her makeover : )  Take a look at her Before & After here.

This one is only a week or two old and she is FAB.

Did I mention she was a complete ANGEL? Like 100%.  She got an A+ from me.  I think we realized her true calling in life...good thing we can get her started at such an early age! Hehe.

Her parents are awesome.  Check out their family shoot here that we did days before this little cutie came into the world.

I love this.  If she wasn't such a GLAM girl in the other shots I would be very tempted to say this was my fave shot.  If you know anything about her Daddy-o you would know this fits him perfectly.  I nominate this to be his new profile pic...and to keep it that way until the day she marries.  She would love that.

I love this sweet family.  I've done so many shoots with them I've lost count!!!  Take a look at the one I did with them about a year ago here.  

Honestly, one of the coolest parts about being a photographer is seeing how much things change over the years.  In this case, a growing family! 

I am forever grateful that they have chosen me to capture all of these defining moments in their lives!  Baby #2 was on the way....so glad we got a get a few shots of this beautiful momma and her fam!

I've taken pictures of this little man before he was even officially out of his momma's tummy!!!  Love him!!!

Ummm....this is what I call perfection!

Any guesses on the gender of the baby?  I'll be posting pics of the babe next week : )  Gorgeous is an understatement for Miss Mom over here...she was literally due any second when we shot this!

Valentine's Day Special - Part 1: The Kiddos {Santa Clarita Valencia 91355 Portrait Photographer}

I can't believe February is over.  Is it just me or does time fly by faster and faster the older we get?  Sheesh!  

I had such a great little turn out in the studio for the special I ran for Valentine's Day... I just have to share a little snippet of what we did!

My sweet friend Jen helped me make this darling banner!  Her kids modeled it for me perfectly : )  Aren't they precious?
