Happy 6th Birthday! {North Dallas Portraits}

My sweet Jayda turned 6 a few months ago.  It's almost impossible trying to run a birthday party with lots of kiddos and take video and pictures at the same time but this is what I managed to throw together. Enjoy!

Happy 3rd Birthday Mr. A {McKinney North Dallas Photographer}

Yes it is almost September....his birthday was in June.  Better late than never!  I just HAD to post these.  He is just too cute.  I love this little guy.  He's talking more and more and about to start preschool!  He's crazy, funny, sweet, LOVES babies and knows how to push me to my limits!

He wanted a motorcycle cookie for his birthday so this is what I came up with.  Definitely not Pinterest worthy but he loved it!  It was super easy for me and my daughter loved taking over and decorating : )

I'm so glad I took a few minutes to get a few nice pictures of him.  If any of you have seen his "smile" for the camera when he was younger you will know this is a massive improvement!

Happy 1st Birthday Little Miss C {McKinney North Dallas Photographer}

Although I may be over 2 months late in sharing these I figured better now than never!  I snapped a few quick pictures at the bottom of the stairs before church for her birthday.  It's only been about 10ish weeks since then but she has changed so much already!  I think she looks different, shes just barely starting to walk and talk.  Not to mention SO SO smart.  It's kind of scary.  She's feeding herself with a fork and spoon and understands how to do something if you show her once or twice.  We love this little lady so much and are so lucky to have her in our family.  I can go on and on about her but will just share these pics instead:

Out came the cake and candle...she really wasn't sure how to react...

 She cried for a minute...

 and then realized that cake and frosting were a tasty part of life 

that had been missing until now!

Ninja Turtles Birthday Bash! {Santa Clarita Valencia 91355 Portrait Photographer}

My delightful friend Jen throws the best birthday parties for her kiddos (you can look at the last one she had for her darling daughter here).  Her son, Joe, just turned 6 and they had a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles themed party.  So fun!

Clearly, he is adorable.  He had so much fun with all of his little friends!

I was happy to cover the party for Jen as I have in the past but this time around I wanted to try something different.  I wanted to put something together for her and Joe that was more that just pictures.  Soooooo this is what I came up with:

I was really happy with how it turned out and can't wait to make more!  I think it's a great way to re-live and remember a special event - whether it's a party, family reunion or a moment with your family (think family photos taken to the next level!!!) bridal or baby shower, birth or the first hours with your new little one...the possibilities are endless!  What would you want a video of?
