Moving and the new BIZZZZ!

Ok I know I have been SUCH a blog slacker!!!  Moving is not fun.  Moving while you have the flu is even worse!  It came.  It went.  I'm over it but it was just not a fun day!  We are pretty much out of our old place now, with the exception of cleaning before we make it official.... After this week I will be free!!!!  

To add to the craziness I had my Spring Special going on just before the move.  I can't wait to show ya'll the darling pictures I took of these kids : )  

Annnnnnnddddddd last but definitely not least I am now a rep for this CUH-RAY-ZY anti-aging-but-does-a-whole-lot-more-than-prevent-wrinkles cream called Nerium.  It is incredible and I'm so excited to be a part of an amazing company.

Did I mention how FUN my team was?  Last night one of my mentors treated a big group of us went to see RIHANNA at the Staples Center!!! 

 She was stunning....flawless.  Her voice?  Pitch-perfect.  It was SO. MUCH. FUN!

Best of all I got to meet a lot of lovely ladies and enjoy each other's company all in the name of Nerium!!!!

As soon as Ms. S walked into my studio, I knew my hair/make-up artist and I were in for a treat.  Although she didn't have a drop of make-up on, I knew that we could transform her into the glamorous woman that was in there somewhere!  Don't you think she is a Selma Hayek look-alike?  I think she's more beautiful than Selma, actually.  

 Before we started our shoot she mentioned that she has never gotten a professional portrait taken of herself before, other than back in grade school.  This woman should have been on magazine covers, right????  I'm just happy I got to be the first one to give her the experience of a lifetime!

Ninja Turtles Birthday Bash! {Santa Clarita Valencia 91355 Portrait Photographer}

My delightful friend Jen throws the best birthday parties for her kiddos (you can look at the last one she had for her darling daughter here).  Her son, Joe, just turned 6 and they had a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles themed party.  So fun!

Clearly, he is adorable.  He had so much fun with all of his little friends!

I was happy to cover the party for Jen as I have in the past but this time around I wanted to try something different.  I wanted to put something together for her and Joe that was more that just pictures.  Soooooo this is what I came up with:

I was really happy with how it turned out and can't wait to make more!  I think it's a great way to re-live and remember a special event - whether it's a party, family reunion or a moment with your family (think family photos taken to the next level!!!) bridal or baby shower, birth or the first hours with your new little one...the possibilities are endless!  What would you want a video of?

Valentine's Day Special - Part 2: The Beauties {Santa Clarita Valencia 91355 Portrait Photographer}

If you haven't seen what I did with the cute kids that came in for my Valentine's Day special, you can read about it here.  These beautiful ladies came in for the same deal, but I thought they needed their own post!  

Aren't they lovely?  They were my breath of fresh air in between all of the kiddos! Don't get me wrong, I looooove the kids but every once in a while, an easy adult just makes me a happy girl. 

I've got lots of great posts coming up!  Can't wait to show what I've been up to lately......

Valentine's Day Special - Part 1: The Kiddos {Santa Clarita Valencia 91355 Portrait Photographer}

I can't believe February is over.  Is it just me or does time fly by faster and faster the older we get?  Sheesh!  

I had such a great little turn out in the studio for the special I ran for Valentine's Day... I just have to share a little snippet of what we did!

My sweet friend Jen helped me make this darling banner!  Her kids modeled it for me perfectly : )  Aren't they precious?
